In this process, a slurry of water, seed and fertiliser and sometimes a dye are homogeneously mixed in a purpose-built truck or trailer mounted tank. The slurry must be constantly agitated while the mixture is sprayed on the area to be treated.
This treatment has no erosion control capabilities and is only suitable for spreading exotic or native seed prior to a subsequent Hydromulch or Straw mulch application.
